Santa Teresa has become very popular among tourists from all over the world mainly for one reason: surf. There are several reasons for this being the case, some of them are that there are around 20 different surf breaks along the different beaches; that all types of surfers can find a break to surf, from beginners to advanced surfers; and, that there is consistent surf at least for 340 days a year (give or take!).

Although surf may be the main reason why surfers from all around the world visit this destination, the growth of the town has also attracted other types of tourism and therefore, a broad range of creative commercial activities. One of them being local fashion designers and artists being able to find a place to expand their businesses and highlight their creative talents.

In Santa Teresa you will be able to find innovative and creative designers. There are beautiful jewelry designers that work with high quality materials and even offer custom designs; there are one of a kind fashion designers that create curated clothing lines that fit the mood of the town; and, there are of course several bikini designers that not only focus on providing good quality beautiful bikinis for either surfing or simply hanging out, but are also focused in creating sustainable brands using environmentally friendly manufacturing practices and fabrics.
