Are you thinking about taking a vacation in the sun this winter? Santa Teresa is an amazing surfer/yogi paradise on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. What better way to relax in the Tropics than in a luxurious swimming pool with an incredible view! Here are some of my favorites.
Ocio Malpais
This luxurious ocean view villa has three stunning Balinese-style swimming pools, including a swim-up bar and a custom hot tub. The outdoor decks are large with dining areas as well as numerous seating and lounging areas. There is even an outdoor games area with pool table. With ocean views all the way up the coastline, what more could a person want as they soak up the Tropical sun?
Rancho Cielo
Guests can take a dip in the infinity pool at Rancho Cielo while enjoying the unparalleled views of the waves and coastline. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens and plush poolside lounge chairs shaded by large umbrellas, this pool is the ideal place for guests to relax and enjoy the view and the tranquil sounds of nature.
Casa Capitan
Casa Capitan’s large swimming pool is just a few steps away from the beach in North Santa Teresa. From this beautiful swimming pool you can gaze down a dreamy picturesque palm tree lined grove to the beach. Lounge chairs and poolside ranchos surround the pool where guests can relax while enjoying a refreshing cocktail.
Casa Palo Santo
Swim to the edge of the infinity pool at the Casa Palo Santo and take in an absolutely stunning 180-degree ocean view all the way down the coastline to the tip of the peninsula. This pool is perfect for relaxing post-surf and admiring how the jungle coastline meets the ocean over the beaches of Santa Teresa, El Carmen and Mal Pais.
9 Degrees at Malpais
The views from the large Balinese-style infinity pool at 9 Degrees in Mal Pais are incredible. The open air living and dinning area of the home open up to the large swimming pool and it is an absolute dream setting for watching Santa Teresa's gorgeous sunsets.
Casa Grateful
The infinity pool at Casa Grateful is impressive for two reasons: one, it is the only home in the area with a water slide from the master bedroom into the pool, and two, from the pool there is a fantastic panoramic view, south towards Cabo Blanco and north up towards Playa Coyote. The poolside patio is a great place to enjoy the tropical sun and the beautiful sunsets over Santa Teresa.
