2CR Healthy Showings Protocol

Given the evolution of the COVID-19 crisis, we have implemented the following protocols in order to prioritize the health and safety of our clients and our community, while also ensuring that buyers are able to obtain the information they need to make an offer:

  • Buyers can view photos, videos and listen to an audio virtual tour created by the listing agent, either on our website, or by specific request. We highly recommend exhausting the virtiual options before proceeding with further steps.
  • Buyers may also request a LIVE video tour with the listing agent so long as the home is currently empty and has been so for more than 14 days.
  • If the home has been unoccupied for more than 14 days, and properly disinfected, a showing may be facilitated by the listing broker.  For any showings, the buyer and/or agent must confirm
    1. Anyone attending the showing has been in Costa Rica for more than 21 days
    2. No one attending the showing has had any of the following symptoms in the last 14 days: fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing.
    3. No one attending the showing has come in contact with anyone with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the last 14 days.
  • During the property showing, we requre that nothing in the home is touched.  All interior doors will be open and lights will also be on.  We ask that you do not close any doors or turn off the lights.
  • No one will use the restrom at the home during the showing.
  • All showings will be limited to one family member.  All others members who wish to visit the listing will be able to coordinate a separate showing.
  • Only the listing agent and one representative of the Buyer or family can be present during the showing.  Buyer's agent may view the home prior to or posterior to the clients viewing the home.
  • Clients should coordinate their own transportation to and from the homes for showings.
  • All realtors and clients should meet social distancing and appropriate preventative health measures during any showing.

If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact the listing agent.
