Brad's journey in Costa Rica began in 2003 when he left his corporate finance career in Calgary, Canada, in search of a simpler, more fulfilling lifestyle. Together with his wife, Tara, he purchased a raw piece of beachfront jungle in Playa Hermosa, Santa Teresa, with a vision of creating a boutique hotel where guests could experience the natural beauty and laid-back lifestyle that first captured their hearts.

As they waited for permits, they welcomed their first child and quickly recognized the need for family-friendly accommodations in the growing surf community. That realization inspired the creation of Villas Hermosas, a boutique beachfront retreat that opened in 2006 and became a beloved destination for families visiting the Nicoya Peninsula.

After more than a decade in Santa Teresa, Brad and his family relocated to Delicias in 2018 to be closer to Futuro Verde, their children's school, gaining firsthand experience living in another vibrant community on the peninsula. Following the sale of Villas Hermosas in 2021, they made Montezuma their permanent home, where Brad continues to enjoy the lifestyle that first drew him to Costa Rica.

Having spent more than two decades living, building, and investing on the Nicoya Peninsula, Brad offers clients an insider's perspective that extends far beyond the real estate market. His experience as a property owner, developer, business owner, and longtime resident gives him a unique understanding of the area's communities, lifestyle, and investment opportunities.
